The Little Ones

This is the face of one of the "little ones" who joined us last evening for our September Peace Picnic. This Sunday we hear the story of Jesus placing a child at the center of the community and teaching his followers that the one who becomes small by serving others is the greatest in the eyes of God. Thank you to all who lifted up our friends and neighbors and who, by your kindness, affirmed their sacred dignity. Together we created a gathering of peace and goodwill. May our small ministry of hope and healing be a blessing to those we serve and to each one of us, too!
